Dogs love dens they sleep in them hide in h]them and play in them since the dawn of time, a zen den is a comfortable nook your dog can come to and experience a serene spa like treatment. designed to eliminate fear and stress in the routine of frequent grooming and enhance the overall comfort and well being of your pets.
Do I have to make an appointment?
Yes. please contact me to set up a appointment. Estimates are always free and we can schedule a time that's convenient for you. While I am now accepting new clients I do get busy from time to time and pre booking will reserve your pets spot and ensure their appointment is on schedule in order to maintain their grooming needs.
Just Dogs?
Great question! No here at the Zen Den IÂ can accommodate for all animals who will fit in the building! I offer cat grooming, small animal care for birds, reptiles, small household rodents, rabbits, guinea pigs, and more. Select grooming services available for large barnyard animals off site on your property with advanced notice.
Do you have experience with shy, nervous, or aggressive pets?
Yes of course! I dream of solutions of how to keep the peace and be the groomer your dog adores. While some pets get nervous or even aggressive during the process I have years of experience training and working with animals with aggressions and resource issues as well as behavioral struggles and more. I strive to create a trusting bond with your pet in order to keep them happy, clean, and cute.
My dog is really matted will you have to shave them?
We are a Humanity Over Vanity salon. Dematting can sometimes be accomplished but under no circumstances are we willing to jeopardize your pets wellbeing or safety just for a cute style. we really strive for the perfect hair style but please understand that matt removal is a painful and stressful process for pets, it adds to the fear and dislike of grooming when we are constantly pulling at and picking at matts. We are careful to provide the mot safe and serene experience for your pets and sometimes that included shaving around and under matts. Booking in advance, frequently booked services, and maintaining the coat at home are all ways to protect your pets and keep grooming costs low.
